Our ALONG FOR THE RIDE™, Episode #23 is with Katie Tims. Many of you followed every word she wrote during her career as the Editor for Quarter Horse News. Katie was born and raised in Surprise Valley, an extremely "rural" northeastern corner of California– growing up on a cattle ranch which now spans five generations. She started riding horses with her dad before she could walk. Working for Performance Horse Magazine, then Quarter Horses News from 2001- 2012, Katie continues to be an influencer today as freelance author and writer. Most significantly, her stories created a platform for "Open Discussion"– always bringing forward both sides of the issues– "You have to learn the background of the issues and figure out a way to work together."
